As always enjoyed and was touched by your writing .

And feeling a yen to revisit Morocco as a result ! I’m on my way home to west cork after visiting my mother in Devon and then a few days at one of my beloved places which feel like home in a certain way - the far west of Cornwall at a very special place called Bodellan just up from porthcurno owned by two women who make it such an hospitable place to be … a true informal community … I go every year for a few days and sorbtvmany childhood holidays in Penzance . Walking the cliff paths is a paradise .

But as I travelled back through wales to the ferry I had. News from old friends who had bee n coming to visit me in a couple of weeks that their 32 year old daughter had died suddenly…. I’m still so shocked by this news and hope to travel to Belfast fir the memorial service, and your writings about grief are very helpful in doing my best to intuit how to respond truly empathetically in these incredibly hard days they are living through .

On another note Wondering if you would share the places you stayed especially with the big comfy bed ! Xx
